DATA MERGE (MERGE/PURGE)
DataMerge is a program that
works on fixed ASCII files that will merge/purge your files. It uses suppression
processing and can also prioritize your files. Users can match at a residential,
household or individual level and matching can be done based on percentage of match.
Practically ALL databases contain duplicate records, for various reasons such as
keying errors, misheard names and addresses, and additional source feed files. Additionally,
acquisition campaigns that use multiple source lists will contain many duplicate
records as well. You may also wish to suppress your files against another list,
rollup information upon matches, and assign priorities based on list or source.
DataMerge utilizes powerful matching algorithms and parsing functions
to find matches.
